South Africa's most-streamed rapper on Apple Music Nasty C has been signed onto one of the best Record Labels in the world Def Jam Recordings. 


The 23-year-old rapper made his first debut into the U.S with his song titled 'There they go' after signing onto the record label. The video for the song was shot in Durban, the hometown of the rapper and the video was officially premiered today.



Nasty C made his way into the Hip Hop fraternity when he released his first mixtape entitled "One kid, thousand coffins" at the age of 15. In two years, the rapper released his second mixtape "Price City" and in 2016 his debut album "Bad Hair" was released.


In 2018, the God Flow hitmaker came out with his second album dubbed "Slings and Bling" which made the rapper's name a household name in South Africa, Africa and the World at large. 


Slings and Bling featuring multi-platinum tracks ''King," "Jungle," and "SMA" won two South African awards for the rapper and other awards at the AFRIMMA. Nasty C now joins the list of other famous American rappers who are also signed onto the record label. The likes of Big Sean, Logic, Fabolous among others.
