It’s with no doubt that coronavirus epidemic has become a menace for the human race.

The entertainment industry just like any other sector has had its share of the pandemic making concerts and other events to be cancelled.  Footballers, on the other hand, are currently on break as a result of this pandemic.

Ghanaian singer King Promise has given details on how the Coronavirus made him to cancel his ongoing tour.

Speaking to MzGee on 3FM’s entertainment show, the musician disclosed that he will stay out of sight for the next 14 days as he follows the directives given by the World Health Organization due to his recent travel history.

He said “I have not experienced any symptoms of coronavirus, but you know I just returned from abroad and it's important I do this, so I’m in my room chilling, watching football and the company’s doctor will also be paying me regular visits, so I’m fine.” 

The musician spoke about his sold out "AsPromised" concert which took place in London and Amsterdam respectively. The "Abena" hitmaker had to cancel the rest of his tour due to the outbreak of the disease.

King Promise also took the opportunity to urge his fans to adhere to the directives given by the World Health Organization as far as Coronavirus is concerned.

Ghana as a country has confirmed nineteen cases of the disease within the period of 10 days with a number of 500 people coming into contact with these infected persons.
