Rwanda has been ranked as the best place to be for holidays as a result of the rich culture of the country and the numerous tourist sites.  Rwanda's economy has really improved over the years with the country attaining a lot of development feet. TravelLemming.com through their website declared Rwanda as the best place to be for holidays based on election conducted by the travelling blog on their social media page.

Among the attributes that helped Rwanda to be voted as the first in Africa and 30th globally are the beautiful, serene and how organized their national parks are built and how the national carrier RwandaAir is performing in the aviation industry.

This is what Amarachi Ekekwe one of the judges who is also a travel blogger behind Travel with a Pen  said about the country,    "It will be exciting to visit Kigali to see its amazing transformation and to see the conservation efforts at its national parks."

"Rwanda is at the top of my list to visit in Africa to experience its cultural mix and beautiful natural surrounds. While most people go to see the gorillas there are lots of other cultural heritage sites and experiences to be had," added Amanda Mouttaki, another judge and the travel blogger behind Maroc Mama.

Belise Kariza who is the Chief Tourism Officer of the Rwanda Development Board acknowledged  efforts of sector stakeholders in continuously developing Rwanda as a tourism destination. With the efforts of the state Airline RwandaAir preparing to open direct flights from JFK (New York) to Kigali in 2020, it will be of no doubt that Rwanda will probably be one of the best countries in the world in few years to come.
